MY NEIGHBOR’S DOGS
Grammar Point: Comparatives and Superlatives

My closest neighbor has three dogs. These dogs always get excited when they see me get home. The oldest one is not as friendly as the other two, though. He only gets close and wags his tail and, then, is gone. The younger ones always jump high and want to play! However, I’m not usually as willing to play as they are. Actually, I don’t even know their names! There are times when the smallest one jumps as high as he can, trying to lick my face─I guess. Even though my pants get really dirty─and I get mad─when they do that, I have to admit that their cute faces make my days more enjoyable. Today, I want to thank God for my neighbor’s dogs.
