Day 12: My Favorite Yearly Event

ONE HUNDRED TWENTY DAYS IN 120 WORDS Readings for EFL Students MY FAVORITE YEARLY EVENT Grammar Point: Simple Present Last weekend, I attended the 2018 JW Regional Convention , in Trujillo. This yearly public event lasts for 3 days. It takes place all over the world and the program is presented in many languages. Hundreds of volunteers get together and receive training and advice to be more efficient in the work they do. The program usually includes more than 50 talks, 100 videos, and interviews to experienced volunteers. I like this event because I always learn something new there. Also, I get to see my friends. We chat, tell stories, and share the snacks we bring for lunch during the breaks─and make new friends! I sometimes participate as a speaker and always help with the cleaning or the logistics. I want to thank God for my favorite yearly event. READ MORE HERE. Cargando…

Day 2: My Favorite Program

ONE HUNDRED TWENTY DAYS IN 120 WORDS Readings for EFL Students MY FAVORITE PROGRAM Grammar Point: Simple Present I don’t have a TV now but I do have a favorite program that I watch online. It is a monthly program released on the first Monday of each month. It lasts for about an hour. It’s at tv.jw.org. It talks about topics like family and gives advice on how to cope with various situations in life. My favorite edition of the program─released more than a couple of years ago─is about how to be better students and how to do deep research when having study projects. The video says we should answer the following questions when we study: What? When? Where? Who? Why? How? It shows how to implement this beneficial technique. I think I should do it more often when I study and do research. READ MORE HERE. Cargando… Info aquí
