Making others smile is a source of contentment. Helping friends create memories is rewarding. Smiles and memories unite people through good and bad times. They make men and women, young and old feel good when individuals most need it. The smiles that once adorned others’ faces eventually come to and stay with us, making us smile in return. That’s why most of us think that giving of our time, resources, energies, and any other thing we have to help a friend build memories makes everyone involved happy. That’s how I feel today, many years after one of the most memorable experiences in my life─the day I was there for a friend when he proposed to his girl. They’re happily married now, building their own memories and making others smile.
