THE MOTOTAXISTAS IN OTUZCO
Grammar Point: Quantity Expressions

Otuzco is a small town without a public transportation system. You can cross the whole town walking in 45 minutes. A lot of the people here just walk; but when they don’t have the time, most of them take mototaxis. All of the mototaxistas in Otuzco charge S/. 2.00 for a ride─sometimes more, sometimes less. Since this is a small town, a lot of them know the people in the area and, sometimes, charge less to their neighbors and friends. This helps us with the volunteer work my friends and I do here. None of us have a car, but some of us have friends─willing to help─that have mototaxis. Today, I want to thank God for the friendly mototaxistas in Otuzco.
